The nuclear power plant located between the beach and the I-5 at San Onofre should never have been built. But it was. And they never should have been allowed to alter the turbines to get more power (endangering us all). But they did. This lead, of course, to the shutdown. Now they are storing radioactive waste outdoors, exposed to the ocean and on an earthquake fault want to place it in "temporary", "safe" storage underground and wait for permanent storage...somewhere in the future...unknown. This moving of highly radioactive waste is dangerous and should only be done once a safe permanent storage site is secured. This shirt reminds us of the dangers...and stupidity.
