The New Golden Rage
Fires rage
oceans storm and hurl
themselves onto
the defiled land
poison pours flushed
from the gold plated toilet
full of hair spray
tanning creams and lies
oh the lies swirling
like flies on a turd
fueling tv ratings
on the reich wing news
the least informed
and most entertained
vote for more lies
more entertainment
more drilling
more pollution
in the mushroom cloud skies
more jobs working on the end of civilization
the gold plated toilet sells
time travel for amnesiacs
make america great again for
white people who
worship the golden throne
limbic switch on
tribal warfare erupts
like a volcano spewing
god’s wrath on the
dark and unworthy
showering riches on the saved
can I get an amen
pay no attention
to the others
hate the others
protect the race
save the embryos
forget the babies
destroy the planet
to save the planet
ice caps melt
millions of
snowflakes swirl against
the golden wall of lies
winning at any cost
is too costly
the office defiled
the country divided against itself
can I get an amen
